GESi Emissions Control Technologies

GESi Emissions Control Technologies

Leading Solutions Provider to Address Worldwide Emissions Requirements

The GESi® Research and Development team work with client requirements to provide the most efficient and cost effective emissions control solutions. The following is a summary of GESi emissions control technologies in the marketplace today and in development for future requirements:
GESi-Three-Way-Catalyst
Three-Way CatalystsA GESi Catalytic Converter is an exhaust emission control device that reduces toxic gases and pollutants in exhaust gas (NOx, HC, CO) from an internal combustion engine through a redox reaction (an oxidation and reduction reaction). GESi Catalytic Converters are used with internal combustion engines fueled by gasoline, propane, natural gas and other alternative fuels.
GESi-Technology-Oxidation-Catalyst
Oxidation CatalystsA GESi Oxidation Catalysts is an exhaust emission control device that reduces toxic gases and pollutants in exhaust gas (HC and CO) from an internal combustion engine through oxidation reaction. GESi Oxidation Catalysts are used with internal combustion engines fueled by gasoline, propane, natural gas and other alternative fuels.
GESi-Technology-Diesel-Oxidation-Catalysts-DOC
Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC)A GESi Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) is a OEM quality flow-through filter with channels or honeycomb-shaped openings. The ceramic or metal filter is coated with our proprietary precious metals catalyst, (ie. platinum or palladium). GESi DOC's work in conjunction with our DPF solutions and are designed specifically to match the manufacturer’s specified back pressure and exhaust flow rate to ensure maximum fuel efficiency with minimal loss of horsepower while achieving the lowest emissions.
GESi-Diesel-Particulate-Filter-DPF
Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF)A GESi Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is a OEM quality ceramic filter with channels or honeycomb-shaped openings that trap soot onto the channel walls and prevent the particulate matter (down to 1 micron) from exiting out the exhaust. The ceramic filter is coated with our proprietary precious metals catalyst, (ie. platinum or palladium). GESi DPF's are designed specifically to match the manufacturer’s specified back pressure and exhaust flow rate to ensure maximum fuel efficiency with minimal loss of horsepower while achieving the lowest emissions.
GESi-Selective-Catalyst-Reduction-SCR
Selective Catalyst Reducer (SCR)A GESi Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) is an active emissions control technology system that injects a liquid-reductant (or Diesel Exhaust Fluid - DEF) agent through a special catalyst into the exhaust stream of a diesel engine. The DEF sets off a chemical reaction that converts nitrogen oxides (NOx) into nitrogen, water and tiny amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2), which is then expelled through the engine exhaust.
GESi - ENOxCS
Electronic NOx Control System - ENOxCSThe GESi Electronic NOx Control System (ENOxCS) reduces 95%+ NOx on lean burn natural gas engines and also reduces Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Non-Methane Hydrocarbons (NMHC) by 95% reduction without the need of an additional oxidation catalysts and while avoiding the complexity, costs and maintenance associated with traditional urea systems.
GESi-Partial-Flow-Filter
Partial Flow Filters - PFFA GESi Partial Flow Filter (PFF) is a flow-through, catalyzed filter that works in conjunction with DPF's to reduce overall particulate matter by reducing the active regenerative events and thus improving fuel economy and CO2 emissions. Ideal for older diesel engine applications, the PFF is a passive regenerator and requires little to no maintenance during its lifetime.
GESi-Gasoline-Particulate-Filter-GPF
Gas Particulate Filters - GPFA GESi Gasoline Particulate Filters (GPF) or Petrol Particulate Filters (PPF) reduce particle number emissions from gasoline direct injection vehicles. The filters utilize wall-flow substrates first developed for Diesel Particulate Filters. The GPF regenerates passively, but an active regeneration assist is needed to prevent filter plugging during low temperature duty cycles. Ash has an impact on GPF performance. If the GPF is coated with a three-way catalyst it can be a source of catalyst poisoning.
